Jazzmiah | Never Let Me Down

This track was written during a time in my life when I was going through a defining moment in my life. At that time, I hated my job, I was losing friends (even friends in Christ), I felt lonely and I was wondering why God hadn’t stepped in and changed my situation yet. In my praying and crying out to God, He reminded me that He would always be with me. He’d never left me and all I needed to do was trust Him with the next stages of my life. This song is my testimony that God is always there even when it feels like no one else is and He will never let you down.

My name is Jazzmiah. I was born and raised in Jersey City New Jersey. I’ve been singing most of my life, starting when I was a little girl singing in the children’s choir at my family church. At seven years old I was separated from singing in church so I began to sing secular music as I grew up. I began to study how songs were composed and written. I would write songs until I finally got the chance to start recording music in college. Once I decided to take my music seriously, Jesus stepped into my life and saved me for real this time. I’ve been on a journey with Jesus for the last 11 years of my life and it’s been a time redeeming experience. My love for making music has grown to another level and my heart is to make music that draws the lost into the presence of Jesus and keeps the saint grounded and sturdy in their walk with Christ.
